Little is much when god is in it

Good morning!

“And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Five loaves and two fish.

How many times in our life have we been down to five loaves and two fish?

It just doesn’t seem like enough to cover the bills.

It doesn’t seem like enough to keep food on the table until next week.

It didn’t seem like I did well enough on the interview.

It seems like I’ve come up short, I don’t have enough, I’m not good enough.

When it seems like there is not enough, whatever “IT” is - time, money, talent, food, faith, hope, health, whatever “IT” is bringing “IT” to God changes everything.

“He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Little is much when God is in it. Once it was placed into the hands of Jesus “He blessed it”. Once He Blessed it he gave it back and from the Blessed loaves and fishes:

“So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Little is much when God is in it. Like I’ve said before God’s economy is different than ours. He IS Abundance. He IS our Source, our Provider.

When all we see is what we lack, God sees beyond what we lack.

“For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭50‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Everything belongs to God. We are His children therefore with Him and through Him we lack nothing.

“So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.””

‭‭II Kings‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Little is much when God is in it.

“So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.””

‭‭II Kings‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Bring your little. Put it in the hands of Almighty God and He Will Bless it.

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Shaken together and running over!

“Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we go to our Father God, the King of Kings, prepare yourself for King size blessings. Shaken together and running over. Through His blessings He will take you from little to:

“a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭8‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Little is much when God is in it. Give your little to Him and let Him bless what you have!

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

In Jesus Name - Amen
